Mr. Soderquist was the founder and a principal of Soderquist Schwartz Law Offices and practiced law for over 30 years. He was highly respected for his legal knowledge, meticulous legal work and amicable personality. His areas of practice included business litigation, real estate, construction, commercial and public utility litigation. Mr. Soderquist successfully tried, arbitrated and mediated many complex business litigation matters in State and Federal Courts in California during his 30 years of practice. Mr. Soderquist was a member of the California State Bar and San Francisco Bar Association, and he served as a Judge Pro Tem in San Francisco Superior Court. A former licensed general contractor, Mr. Soderquist brought a special insight to real estate and construction matters.
 

Phil retired in August 2018 and passed away in November 2019. He is survived by his wife, Malu, and son, Pierce. The firm misses greatly Phil's wisdom, guidance and humor.
